Another opportunity is available for you or your player (age 16+) to raise funds to pay off your player's season by working as a volunteer for Aramark. This is a fun way to earn money towards your fees by working the Pittsburgh Pirate games and other fun events, like the music concert and many more. The payout per event ranges usually from $85-$150 per game worked. You can work as few or as many as you like. Payouts will be received by the club and go directly to credit your personal account. There will be no cash refunds from the club in the event a player does not continue to play for their team. Any money earn beyond your fees will be considered a donation to the club. Families cannot work anymore events once they have fulfilled their dues.

Required to purchase Aramark Shirt, black slacks and solid black non-slip shoes if you don't already have these.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS ARE LISTED BELOW:

Our next Grand Slam trainings are on are below. This is a NEW volunteer ONLY training required by the Pirates before anyone can work in the building. It is mainly focused on guest experience and afterwards you will have a server safe food safety test that everyone will complete together. Returning participants are required to take their Grand Slam Training online.

The entrance for these trainings and every game is on the corner of North Shore Drive & Mazerowski Way. Look for the two blue double doors.

Once inside everyone will check in with a contact from the Pirates who will give them a form to fill out to have their photo taken for their ID & can sign in under their group & complete a background form required of all nonprofit organization members.

Another requirement for all NPO members is a RAMP certification for anyone over the age of 18. We do allow teens 16-17 to volunteer, they just are not allowed to be on a register where alcohol will be sold.

Below is a link to a discounted RAMP course available online. Once completed everyone will need to send you certificates to be forwarded to me.

RAMP:

-This training is renewed every 2 years. If you chose to take the course online, there is a fee of $10.
