The North Hills Hockey Club, Team Pittsburgh and the Ross Township Recreation Department have teamed up to provide you with this one day information session and youth hockey clinic.

Our goal is to prepare your player to advance their skill level while playing with their school friends for North Hills. We will consistently help your child learn the fundamentals of the sport through teamwork, goal setting & sound hockey skills.

Registration: Saturday, September 17th
Times: 8a - 12p
Where: Ross Township Community Ctr
Cost: $50 non-refundable deposit/commitment fee due (applied towards player fees)

Our program runs Sundays, November - March.

Boys & Girls grades 3rd - 9th (1st & 2nd grade with 1 year ice experience).

Steve Waters has been around the game of hockey since he was 6 years old and competed as a player until the age of 19. This fall he will be entering his 12th season as an official. He began officiating games at the age of 13 with his dad to make a little extra money. In the time since, Steve has gone on to work some significant games.

North Hills Native Belke Skates Way From Viper Stars to NAHL Draft

North Hills High School graduate is selected in the 10th round of the 2011 North American Hockey League Entry Draft by the Port Huron Fighting Falcons.

Pittsburgh – Derek Belke, a member of the 2010 - 2011 Pittsburgh Viper Stars U18 AAA team, was selected in the tenth round of the 2011 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Entry Draft by the Port Huron Fighting Falcons.

Alumni Derek Belke has been selected in the NA3HL Draft with the 12th pick in the 17th Round by the Cleveland Junior Jacks.

To decline placement, you need to notify both coach and treasurer. THE $150.00 PLACEMENT FEE/DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, unless you notify Gary Punzak (Treasurer) by the decline date of Monday, May 16, 2011. Any decline made after 5:00 pm, will forfeit their placement fee deposit.
